I’m starting to develop a real appreciation for sketchbooks. As an art student, I had to do study after study in them, and I just got burnt out by the process.  Maybe I never gave sketchbooks a fair chance.

Anyway, it’s interesting to see other people’s work methods and ideas transform a piece of paper into something visually pleasing.

Just take a peek at some of these.

Bob London’s sketchbook.

Patrick Beser’s gluebooks.

Mateus Acioli’s moleskines.

Gemma Correll’s sketchbook.

Oh man, I love sketchbooks. I am really digging the Gemma Correll sketches. The last one is pretty genius.

I think the best sketchbooks I’ve come across are those that reflect the person’s personality and overall style.

The last one is how I feel many days. ha ha…It is pretty sweet though! Her work is really great.
